i'm talking about the players in the united squad who have made it through the youth system or bought from other clubs recently. the like of the silva twins, frazier campbell, rodrigo possebon, daniel petrucci and johnny evans. a few of them got a chance to showcase their talent in the pre-season friendlies and in the season opener against newcastle. i think they all did well. its only a matter of time before these young guns make their presence felt. united's defence crisis are definitely over with the arrival of the silva brothers, while campbell looks goods in the box. what do you say?

Rafael Silva already got 2 first team start this season. Looks that this boy will be a fine replacement to Gary Neville and provide a challenge to Wes Brown. Possebon also looking good but had been hampered by the injury recently. Johnny Evans is the best I thing. Playing with a calmness and makes himself look likes Rio Ferdinand partners for years already. But it still takes some time to dislodge Vidic place. Campbell has speed, and being a main player that help Hull get promoted last season. But he also needs some time to establish and improve himself as a predator in the box. I'm a little bit disappointed when Alex Ferguson sold Chris Eagles and Geuseppe Rossi to other clubs because for me both of them have a really bright future to the team.

I feel Possebon and Evans are good, but still needs improvement to get edge in their game which United players have. While others I don't feel are that impressive. They may tone up their game with time, or may be transferred to a suitable club.

MUFC, to my observation, is a very good nursery where stars are made, nurtured right from the sprout stage. I think the lads are ripening up according to expectation!
