I believe most of the mylotters here may experienced that when you have been worked for sometimes (non stop and does not taking any leave before), then you suddently feel like want to go for a long rest or just take some days off. Please share here normally this kind of feeling will start after how long you have been worked non stop? Few days? Few weeks or few months? Or maybe once a year or twice a years?

It's not actually a privilege from our work. Our work demands a lot of our time. There are really times that all I want is just stay at home, watch tv,surf the internet or just sleep.I work in a call center and we hear customers who are irate and that really give stress feelings from the agents and sometimes our days off are not enough. That's why for some they go out of town to stay away from the office and see the beach and feel the peaceful sound of the sea instead of hearing the customers complaints. A week vacation once a month would be best aside from having the days-off. pinksBEE

Hi pinks17, agree with you. Sometimes we take leave just to wish we get some own time to rest at home, and seriously, hopefully no body disturb us, hehe :p It will spoil our mood when you still get office call when you are on leave, right?

hi, when u know that its the time to have some fun apart from the work and u hav the plans for the holiday and u know that u wil utilize that holiday and spent good time compare to ur job at work........ when there is a matter of takinfg a long holiday then it dependa on the security on the job. if u r a fresher then no one allows u for long holiday and u wil loose ur place from ur job so u can do that at ur own risk,

Hi sachin_vas, thanks for your response. I strongly agree with you, when that time coming, then i can feel it, hehe :p Of course, as what you have been mentioned, it is also depends on whether my current work load allow me to do so or not. Appreciate your advice, thanks.

it depends on many factors. the main factor is of course the fatigue which forces us or make us prefer to take leaves to reenergise us to work better later. A long break gets us the energy to start work from 0 (fresh body, mind and full energy to work) and not from -5 or -10 (fatigued body, mind). i take such leaves once in six months. i prefer it to be in every 4 months. the other factor not inmany cases is the work environment. if it is not conjuciv to work then people take leaves saying fake reasons. just a reason to take break from the bad/inapt environment fro work.

Hi sivanj, thanks for the response. Yes, it will be better if we can go for a long leave after few months. Long in here not necessary means that at least one week, but is sufficient time that we need to re-charge our energy back. I believe, if we love our job very much, then we might not be feeling want to go on leave, hehe :p
