Second foregin language?

China

As a second grade student in our university, I am supposed to choose a second foregin language in next semester. Japanese and Korean are the most popular, and then French or German probably. I like Spanish and Greek, but in China, there seems to be no significance in learning small languages. What do you think? Which language would you choose as a second language?

I learned Korean as well as Japanese. It is not a big deal, however. Anyway, it no easy thing to make it since it is just a second foregin language. How many years have we learned our first foregin languages? Then, how far did we go? Personnally, I prefer Korean. However, I think Japanese is more useful Japanese vs. Korean The pronunciation of Korean is much more easier. The grammars are similar. The pouplation of Japanese is larger. The economy of Japan is more stable. The relation of Japanese and Chinese is closer. More people learn Korean. There is a korean nation in China. All korean national people speak Korean as well as well as Chinese. Besides, their first foreign language is Japanese. Most of the korean series are without subtitle. Thus, it doesn't really help. In the northeastern of China, there are more korean-fund companies including SK, SAMSUNG, Lg. Thus, it is reasonable to take korean into consideration. If u want to empoly ur second language as a springboard so as to go aborad. The universities in Japan are much better. Though Korea university, Yonsei university and Seoul nation university are OK, compared to the university of Tokyo or Waseda university..etc., U know, they would be not so perfect.

Right now I'm in the process of learning Japanese, Russian, French, Chinese, and Dutch. Then I want to move on to Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. I really want to try and learn every language because it connects you to the world. I'm sure that whatever you'll choose will help guide you through life with knowledge.

I've heard that Japanese and Spanish are both very practical languages to learn, but I am in the United States. Personally, I have always wanted to learn Greek. I did take French in high school, and I enjoyed it.
