Too much use of mobile phones?

I had this problem, well actually, my elder sister's problem. She's a 24/7 user of her cellphone!... just kidding!. My dad always scold her for almost a non-stop use of her cellphone for about 3-5 hours. Is it too much or is it just normal or is there no limit on using cellphones?

If she's on a contract then this is bad as I guess she's overspending wildly on it. Get her on prepaid, then she can never go over the limit! I'm pretty bad myself. I get 1000 texts a month, and always use them. I don't tend to call people though, and if I do, the conversation will still only be about 10 minutes long as i can never find much to say to people, and theres always something else that i need to be doing.

Three to five hours? Does that girl have no life? If that would be my daughter, the phone would be gone. I can only image how much that habit of your sister costs your father. No, there is no limit, the phone company won't cut you off unless you have a prepaid phone. But there is a limit on how many minutes you can use for free during any given month, then you pay an arm and a leg.
