Acessing The Internet.

I access the internet thru a cable connection, and I still don't feel like the speed is fast, maybe because I was complaining about my cable bill rocketing and the cable company offered and gave me a deal on one of their specials, I am not that familiar with internet speed or connection but I have seen that there are different ones. My daughter was once on the dial up connection but she now have the cable connection too.
How do you access the internet? Cable( DSL) or Dial up?

Hi Chevee,
I don't know much about internet connection because my husband deals with it but I know this much my LapTop is wireless and the big cumputer is on cable.

had dial up at my daughters. hated it, but since i moved i have supposedly dsl. from phone company and it still is not only not very fast, but gives me fits staying connected during storms. when there my daughter is still able to get online!
