How to be recognized

Every one thinks that he/she should be duly regarded and respected in the society. On what factors the reputation of a person depends? How can other people think that you are awesome and talented? how one can earn reputation?

well, i was not born wealthy and rich but i and my siblings are being recognized in our community since we are 4 Registered Nurses who in some way help neighbors by imparting our knowledge on medical conditions they seem to have a problem with. one doesn't need to do something gross to be recognized and appreciated by others. it is just a matter of sharing and having the will to make a difference in the lives of others.
