in our household we try to save as much water by making sure we have no leakages and the taps are used wisely.. we also try re-using some of it.. we use our grey water to water the plants.. we collect some of the rain water also for watering our plants and cleaning purposes.. we can save on water cost and also help our mother earth at the same time.. :-)

I try to not let the tap run.The price of Water like everything has gone up.I shut the water off while I am brushing my teeth. I have even went as far as not filling my pool up this year instead we just got a season pass to our towns public pool. The part that is hard to control is showers and washing the clothes and dishes.

I never waste water. It's too expensive to waste. Our water prices have almost doubled this month as an incentive to people to conserve. It worked for me. I don't want to pay more money for water. The higher water prices get, the more people will conserve. I now take 2 minute army showers. As soon as I'm wet, the water goes off. After I soap up, I turn it on just long enough to rinse off. I'm also using the water from my washer to wash my floors and water the garden. I'm going to set up a proper grey water system for use in gardening.
