My Automotive Love Affair

My ultimate dream car is the Cadillac Deville. They don't make them anymore, all they make is DTS's. That's okay. When I get mine custom made I am going to scrape that emblem off, and steal someone's Deville Emblem and super-glue it on lol. I have wanted a Deville ever since I rode in my Army Instructor's back in high school. The ride was like butter, rolling down the street like that. I decided then that I would have one, and nothing will keep me from it!!! But I can't just go and get one off the lot, no sir. I want one that is mine and mine alone. I want a forest green paint job, with tiny flecks of sparkles in it. Not a whole bunch, just a small glitters worth. I also want to have 14k gold accents on the outside. Inside, I will only compromise with one thing. I want Corinthian leather seats so bad I can smell them, but they are just so hot to sit on in the summer!!! So I will settle for cloth seats just for safety sake. But there must be a Bose sound system in the car. I fell in love with their systems while in the Hospital with my son. When you play their speakers, it sounds like they are playing in the backseat, so I must have those. I am also very possessive, so I will not have a regular key ignition. I am going to have the fingerprint identification system so that no one can drive the car but me!!! This isn't the only car I've loved. My first love was the Oldsmobile ninety-eight. I wanted one so bad because it seemed like you could just do so much in detailing that bad boy, that was until I rode in the Deville lol. Right now, and don't tell Deville this, I am having a secret love affair with the Chrysler 300. They are good luxury cars too, and have a smooth ride. But I am only cheating with Chrysler, he could never replace my sweet Deville lol. So MyLot, what is your dream car? What car are you secretly admiring behind your dream car's back?

I'm sorry I have to be somewhat silly with this response Drk!! I remember your appreciation of the Cadillac Deville from other discussions and responses. In fact, I remember accidently scraping your dream car with my Gundam during a star ratings protest! And wait a minute, I remember offering a dream car to you during a free-for-all discussion and you didn't like it. (.

Ah, that is what custom refits are for pro lol. Long time no see!!! Its not that I haven't been on here, I guess we've just been on two different wavelengths lol. Yeah, it all started with my rant about stars around here. You came to my protest in that goofy Gundam, parked it waaaay too close to my Deville (that wasn't your spot anyway lol) and scratched it on take off. (Dammit, she'll never be true again *sniff*) It wasn't a whole new dream car, you fixed mine and put all those crazy refits on there that I didn't ask for!!! I asked you to take it back and take those out of there. They are supposed to me my specs, not yours lmao!!! (Although, the nice little robot that your guys forgot when they took all the high tech sh*t out of there that serves me coffee...I will keep lol) I should of known that would be your dream car. Men and their fast cars . Maybe I could have been persuaded to have an appreciation in those types of cars had I not been scarred as a child. You see, Mama had a Nissan 200x. You know, the two door? Anywayz, I always got stuck in the back sitting behind my uncle, her brother. He was already 6'5", and I wasn't a short child either. So I had to sit for long rides, knees up to my neck the entire trip. I understand that neither the Porsche 911 nor the Coupe have back seats, on top of which I would be the driver now and wouldn't have to worry about that. But ever since those days I've had a cloisterphobia about cars, and cannot stand to be in a two-door, no matter where I get to sit lol!!

I always wanted a Mercedes, no matter what year or model. I almost had one too. My cousin had one that wasn't running. My parents didn't think it could be fixed, but now somebody's riding around in a Mercedes that should have been mine! But I have an infatuation with older cars too: a 1969 Chevy Impala to be exact. But my parents had a 1998 Cadillac Deville Northstar. I tried to get them to sell it to me, but I was just wanting a car right then. They sold it to my aunt (she needed it worse than me! LOL!). But now they have a 2003(?) Cadillac Deville Northstar. My dad has a love for Cadillacs (I guess it's a preacher thing in GA). But anyway, I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu, and I would trade it any day to get my '69 Impala.

My Grandma, Mama Gwen - She know her fat butt ain't gonna want to climb up into no Denali lol!!! (Luv u Mama Gwen
Well I must have that GA blood running through my veins, because this DeVille will not let me rest lol!!! I want the Nortstar system as well, because who knows when I would get lost. I'm sorry you missed out on the Merecedes. My friend in high school's Foster Mother had one. They are pretty nice I do have to say, but my heart won't let me want a foreign car lol. My Grandma has a Malibu too, only a year younger than yours. They are pretty nice, normal cars. Not too much on the gas tank if you take care of it, you know? But My grandma would trade it for her dream car, the Yukon Denali lol. Would be a good car for her, but the whole family knows she would get tired of having to get up in that thing lmao!!! She know she lazy (Don't tell her I said that!)

I have the best ride in the world. A 1985 Ford LTD wagon.....What?!?....I have 4 kids its practical....And it was free. :) I was never into cars. Now if you were talking about keyboards then I already have my dream....But you are talking about cars. My first car was a 1985 Ford Escort. I loved that car. It was a 3 speed on the floor, hatch back, comfortable and fun to drive. I don't like the new escorts, they are just not the same.

That's the same reason why I really don't want a DTS. I have never ridden in one of those, but I am afraid that even though it looks exactly the same, there will be something missing that they used to do with the DeVille. If that's true, once I find it out I will have to get an old Deville instead. But if there is no difference, I still want my car to say DeVille, not DTS. I know, I'm picky, but I want what I want, and I'll have it!!!

I would love a Mercedes convertible. I don't know exactly what it's called but I know it's close to 100,000 bucks! That's my dream car and I would never dream of cheating on it! LOL

That's what I thought until I rode in the Chrysler 300! Its ride is so similar that I love it almost as much as the DeVille. I would take one for a gift, but I would never buy one outright. And I still would get the DeVille later!!!

I'll like the R34 GT-R, the Skyline GT-R that got me hooked onto the whole Skyline GT-R series. The new R35 may look more modern and is more modern than the R34, but I'll have the R34 over the R35 anyday. =)
