Should Jagex let us play Runescape Classic or make Runescape 3?

My friend was one of the first players of runescape and he was able to play runescape classic (the first version of runescape). I watched him play and it seemed much better than the version of Runescape that we play now. I am getting bored of Runescape and i am dying to play runescape classic. Do you think they should make Runescape 3 or let us play runescape classic?
