What's the BEST CALL CENTER Company for you?

Call centers are popping like mushrooms here in the Philippines. They're almost everywhere. Anyone that has money can even start one. All you need is a huge or enough investments, a couple of computers with phone lines. Then you're good to go. Though with all the companies that popped up, which one is your favorite and taking pride if you're working in it? Well mine is, Convergys. I think its the best one around although it has its flaws but its lesser evil as I may say compared to other companies that were erected and established since the dawn of contact centers here in this country.

i work for wachovia bank and find the call center enviroment to be like anyother. customers calling at all hours of the day, mostly when its lunch time, the benefits and pay are great and the people are nice.

I don't know about where you are, you have many English speaking as well as Spanish speaking people so you have a real advantage over us here in the U.S. but be wary because both India and Pakistan have been hurt by U.S. companies coming over and investing heavily in call center by the hundreds only to find that their customer in the U.S. didn't like to do business with people whose accents gave them away as probably not being American. See, tens of thousands of us lost those jobs that went to other countries. Now, in the last couple of years, companies are coming back home and hiring people here. In fact my wife has been working in call centers for some time now. Low pay, odd hours, but it is a job. I hope your government is quick to realize that we have a huge Spanish speaking population in the U.S. and companies coming there should pay a fair price to you for the work you do. People here who are bilingual get more money for it!
