Do you agree?_ Is it true that the only thing responsible for the positive and negative thoughts in our heads is our way of perceiving events because of the way we were taught by society to put labels on things? For instance ‘smoking is bad’ and ‘drinking is bad’ …what do you think about hamlets quote?

I agree that that society has influenced the positive and negative thoughts and feelings we all have about many things, such dandelions; we have been taught that it is a weed but, home remedies the dandelion is useful for a multitude things. Sometimes you have to break out of conventional thinking and decide for yourself what is "good" and "bad".

Yes, of course we are influenced by what we're taught and by the labels given to things and to people. Children learn from parents and other family members, from teachers, even from television. They copy what they've seen and heard, and behaviors repeated become habits. I noticed that there are some flowering plants that are called flowers in the south and weeds in the north. They're the same plants. But in one part of the country they are cultivated and cherished, and in the other part they are poisoned or pulled. The only difference is in the way people see this plant, and how they've been trained to see it.
