Dogs riding in vehicle, is it rediculous or OK?

I really don't care for the fact of any animal riding in any vehicle, It is a distraction and also smelly, what happens if you are on the free way and ur animal has to do its thing? do you pull over or let it go all over you car?

I do not think there is anything wrong with it at all. I would probably have mine in the backseat so it would not get on top of me while I was driving. :-)
