Hi, 2 years ago I regularly sell stuff at ebay. I wan't to go at it again but I'm a bit rusty. I noticed fees have now increased a lot. Shipping also is higher. Doing the math, I could only earn about 7-10% net if it sells and fees to incurr if it doesn't. To gain some leverage can you offer me some tips? By cutting down, I wish to achieve atleas 12% profit. Thanks for the tip.

My best suggestions are starting out at low bids the lower the bid the lower the fee, and do a simple page, detail description but not alot of frilly desings that they charge for if you use their borders and things. Unless its a really high priced item (like starting over 100 bucks) i wouldnt do any extra exposure stuff that they offer either. My avg selling price on lower items is 4-6 bucks total fees is maybe 2 bucks..not much profit left, but profit none the less and thats all that matter to me. On higher priced items avg sell price for me is maybe 50, total fees under 5 bucks. Still worth it as long as i make a profit.
