Why Are You A MyLotter?

I do it mainly for the brain exercise. I'm trying to ward of the dementia that has incapacitated my Dad. It helps to keep the brain from becoming atrophied and in the process I meet new friends. Also, you're sure not going to get rich by what you earn here.

I'm here because I love the comeraderie. Most folks here are so nice! I love the friendship, sharing, caring, laughing, understanding and great information you get from fellow myLotters.
Learning has always been a 'hobby' of mine and this place is a great place to learn new things. I can't tell you how many times a topic has been brought up that I ended up doing a lot of research on just to learn more about it.
I've also surprised myself by realizing just how much information I have to share with others! On the surface, I'm kind of bubbly and always ready for a good laugh... typical blonde stuff. But, I've spent my life soaking up information and finally found a place where it is coming in useful!
Getting paid for all of this is purely icing on the cake. Nope, you won't get rich here, unless you have a gazillion active referrals, but I think it's so cool that they're paying me to talk! Well, write, anyway.
My paternal grandmother had Alzheimer's. Although she was in her late 80's when it was first diagnosed, I'd like to put any brain atrophy I might get off for as long as I can. So, that is definitely one reason I'm here.

I love a good female effervescent personality. I'll bet you "light up a room" when you enter. Have you ever had anyone tell you that? It always brightens my day to be around someone like that. But you seem to have a handle on MyLot and it matches my reasons for being here. You go girl! Keep up the bubbly personality. I'll keep looking for your posts. Thanks for the response.

Effervescent! You know, I've never equated the two words before! I think I like effervescent better than bubbly. Yep, I'm sure I do! Okay, then. I'm effervescent and always ready for a good laugh! 
I once asked a friend of mine if he could sum me up in one word. I was looking for an online screen name and needed ideas. He is an editor, so I figured he'd be the best person to ask. He thought about it for a few moments and finally said, "Vivacious".
Yeah, I've been told I light up a room and not only when I enter. 
I'm not loud and boisterous or bold and brassy (even though I AM Aries LOL). I just like to see people smiling so I do what I can to make that happen. Helping to make others happy makes me happy in return. I guess people remember stuff like that.
I'm happy to know that you are a man who can appreciate effervescence. (I knew I could sneak that word in here at least one more time!) I've experienced a few people who had quite the opposite reaction and got angry or jealous because I took attention away from them. I honestly never try to do that; it just happens. Sometimes, I think I should try to tone myself down some but I doubt that'll ever happen. I'm a wizziwig (wysiwyg, a.k.a. what you see is what you get). 
Okay, now that my head as grown about five sizes larger, I'd better get outta here and check on that rain that we haven't gotten any of yet! (This is SO bizzare! It's now coming down just to the west and east of us, but split just enough to keep us dry. Unbelieveable!)

I become myLotter the spend my spare time. Beside that I can learn many thing and improving my english skill. I have already try to learn english writting without other programe or way. Then I find this myLot, I really happy and enjoy joining in here. Other thing is I get slove my problem by reading people who respond my discussion and also give the answer to other discussion. The last thing that won't forget is myLot also pay us for our post.

It's for fun it's to make friends, it's to learn and it's to share. These are the reasons I'm here on mylot.The money part does not really matter. It's more as an incentive to keep one posting and set targets.
