Can you still bring back the love you already lost?

By the time the usual break-up arises in a relationship, can you still bring back the love that you have lost? Would you still want to bring it back? Are you willing to do it? If not, would you still try to reminisce the past relationship you had?

As I've experienced, I couldn't bring back the love we had. I admit that it is my fault. I broke up with him without letting him know what's the real reason behind it. I really wanted to have it back, but it was too late. I did everything to bring him back to me, but nothing happened. So, every night, I keep blaming myself and reminiscing the sweet moments we had when we were still together. Until now, I still love him though I have been out of his life. I'm pretty sure, he's happy on his own life without me. ='(
