What Brand Cat Food

What brand of Cat food do you all feed your felines? I used to feed my girls Special kitty from Wal-Mart until they had that huge recall. It seemed Meow Mix was one of the few brands that did not get recalled, so that is all I will buy. They get Meow Mix dry food, Wet food, and Treats. Everything else I try to give them upsets their tummy's and I end up with nice "wet spots" that surprise me in the morning..lol. So what do you give your cats and why? Thanks for your time!!

Over here, the two most popular brands of dried cat food sold are Friskies and Whiskas. I usually buy them in 1.5Kg packs and they come in various flavors like tuna, chicken and tuna, mackeral, ocean fish or seafood. I buy different flavors each time for variety, and all the cats I feed seem to love every flavor. By the way, I don't keep cats as pets in my apartment, but I have many cats as friends downstairs my apartment and so I feed them everyday. Some of them are very close to me and behave like my pets. I give them names so they know I'm calling them whenever I come around with cat food for them.

That is awesome technically they are your pets because you feed them so they will be loyal to you. We try to get two different flavors and we mix them (we saved a plastic cat food tote that we dump the bags into) It gives them a little bit of a variety that way. MY one cat used to pick out what she likes and left what she didnt for the other cat..lol..

Mixing the food is a good idea. I can try that for my "adopted" cats since I buy two packs cat food of different varieties each time I go out replenishing them. They'll be in for a treat, surely!!

I feed my Lucy Meow mix. I only give her dry food, because she will not eat the wet food. I also give her Pounce kitty treats. I have not have any "wet spots"to deal with. Seems I am lucky like that lol.

lol yeah they are not fun to step into and they are not funny to hear in the middle of the night. WE give them hairball control mixed in with regular flavored food and it has decreased the "wet spots" very much. Now that we found a brand that works we are sticking to it, they love it so why change it right..Thanks for sharing..

My kitties eat Friskies and Fancy Feast, they are so picky when it comes to food.
