do you think being a gay or a lesbian is a mental disorder?

umm..i guess they're not. but other people say that being a gay or lesbian is a psychological disorder since these people tend to act in contrast with their physical appearance. what do you think?.. any opinion will be appreciated. hope you can help me with this. hehe! thank you.:)
