wow! what a great choice!

I am so excited by McCain's choice as a running mate! I don't know everything about Sarah Palin but what I've read so far, I like. I'm not saying she is perfect but I do think she's a smart choice! I also think that McCain timed it perfectly. I'm happy with her pro-life stance and a lot of her other attributes. She's a strong person and can handle herself well from what I've seen so far. I also like the fact that her nickname is Sarah Barracuda. She'll need to be tough for the road ahead. Part of what I like about her is that if something happened to McCain, I think she could walk into that position without much challenge. She's a leader by nature and she stands her ground for what she believes in. I also like the fact that she helped reform the ethics of Alaska's government. And, I like the fact that she's not a Washington crony. That will hopefully give her an edge to look at things from a fresh perspective and learn new ways of dealing with things. I guess we will all see how well she handles things in the days and weeks to come. I just like what I see so far.
