Why i hate yahoo

i hate yahoo why this happening for!!! when ever i sign up for things they dont send you confirmation email when you are meant to get it !! why does this happen? is there some way to make it recieve emails lol i checked it and there nothing in junk or whatever. hotmail is so much better.
