Personally, when I don't like maintaining notebooks. I just write stuff on scratch papers or in the book's pages itself and sometimes I just try to memorize so I don't have to write it down in a notebook. But notebooks are compulsory in some subject so I have to maintain one if I want to graduate. What happens is I just borrow a classmates notebook and copy what he has written. Do you like maintaining a notebook?

I have a notebook because it is much easier to learn from a notebook because you have personal notes that you will remember when reading them again. Most of the time I type them out on my pc and add them all together in a bundle so I can learn them once exams kick in. I have been as stupid as to share them in the past but I work my butt of while other people don't even bother to take notes. I don't do so anymore because I got zip in return and these people are just trying to make their way through college easily. It should be a give and take situation but it's just taking. I have a few friends I switch notebooks with so we all have less work, still I learn the most from making my own notes.

It's not just about liking; certain literature is only told in college lessons and is to be found no where else but is asked on exams. If you don't take notes you will miss valuable information. I've seen people flunk because of this. If you are learning to become qualified for a certain profession in higher education you better take notes.

Yes,cyberfluf,u're right ,eventhough I never flunk in any of the past exam or test without notes .lol.I am sure I will improve this in the following days ,cause taking nots is good habit of learning ,indeed. only sometimes I just dislike it ,:). Good luck to everyone !

Hi there Richie M! Yes, I like maintaining notebooks. I like copying and jotting down important details, usually in the outlined form of what are being discussed inside the class and even lessons that weren't actually discussed. I find it a lot easier to make a reviewer when I have complete notes about the lessons and it makes me more confident that I will pass and do good with the exams. I also like being able to find the information if ever I'll need it in the future, or sharing them to the next batch of students, if I have a relative or friend who will be taking up the csame subjects that I did.

Hello richiem! I was a very efficient student. I always maintained one notebook for every subject I have had since I was in grade school. The last time I checked in the attic, I still have my notebooks from grade school and high school in a box. I maintained a notebook for each of my subjects back in college and even when I was in graduate school. I do not want borrowing notes from my classmates.

Hi,richiem!Good topic first! As a newly graduated student, I really miss my notebooks very much. I used to be the kind of student who is able to take note quickly and clearly, and if you're my classmate, your first candidate of note-copying is definitly me! haha~ Till now, I'm still keeping notebooks for good and I really like taking notes in jobs now. The thing which is different is that my note now is mainly about my working schedule. So, Yes,I do. Happy day!

Yes, I like maintaining a notebook in every subjects during my school days. It is the easiest way to be organize in school, and to review whenever we have exams or quizzes. I usually write the notes in a paper, and re-write it on my notebook in the evening so my handwriting will be good. Taking notes is all required for us so better be good lol.

I am your polar opposite. If I didn't write it down in my notebook, I didn't learn it. I used 6x9 notepads for school. I also remembering that the only way I could do Algebra was to write every thing down.

Yes I do and in that way I was able to keep track of the lesson whenever I review. Sometimes though I just write notes on the handouts so it would be easier for me to get back to previous lessons. Sometimes some of my classmates too copy my notes but they do it with a photocopier. Also the other thing I like about notebooks is that there are spaces to draw things.

When I was in my School Days i always keep my own notebook for my notes either it is compulsory or not i always keep my own for I do not like to borrow for my classmates all of the time unless if I am absent because I am sick then that would be the possible things that I would borrow my classmates notes......

Yes I do. I can't be without a notebook, I don't feel organized without it. I like writing down notes, doodling, and drawing. So there. :) I like maintaining a notebook. Sometimes, I'd feel so smart having one because I know and have what I need to know and have. Too obscure? Hehehe. :D So there.

As a student 4 years ago, i love to keep notebooks with me. It servers as my weapon in the battle of life in the campus. I jut down important ideas ive learned from class. it makes me updated the whole time. When i forgot something i just easily browse the pages of my notebook so that i could recall what we have discussed in the class. It serves as my memory during my stay in college. Jutting down notes could also be a reference when you tend to go back years ago.

When I go to school, yes, I most certainly have a notebook, and I do my best to get the best notes possible. I have no problem maintaining a notebook. I do not always like it, but I know that I have to have it and that I need it.

ok,you are a guy with some bit of laziness.I consider myself not a hard-working man but I maintain a notebook when havding classes or reading books or attending meetings, that usually rewards me a lot afterwards.I think that may have something to do with your habit of life, not your likes or dislikes that simple.

I have to maintain a notebook. Although not a fair one as they ask me to at college. I'd rather have a book into which I just scribble running notes. Take it and then study it on the way back home. Then refer to some more literature on it and get to know the exact thing. It so happens that teachers now a days have forgotten the basic rule that they are still students. In their course of higher studies they tend to forget a lot of things which we as students still remember. And it has led to a biasing of the things which are taught. Mostly we get to hear the teacher's view on the subject rather than the general view. So I just make notes of the small things that are told, and then go back and do some more study on it. That way I get to have a wider range of ideas and thoughts. bourne
