It is 2 in the morning here in the US and I got lot of thoughts on my mind. First, I think about my family back in the PI. Second, my friends whom I always hang out with everyday. Third, the place the I grew up. Since I have been here I never felt homesick for the reason that I am enjoying my stay here with my husband. But, just this week being alone in our home all day that made me think of them. Especially when I saw their pictures. I am happy here, what made me sad is when you are upset you have no one to talk to except for my husband. When we get into argument, I have no one to talk and share how i feel, but keep it to myself. What about you? what's on your mind right now?

Right now? Well, I got woke up at 4:30 am by my s/o's dog that is having "old age" problems and this is a bit early for me to have to get up... In all truth, I found myself thinking about how much longer that dog is gonna live. He's not a bad dog, but his ways lately really do get on my last nerve. Reading your comments I actually wonder if a pet would help feel the void in your life. I moved to Texas for about 3 years and found myself missing family and friends too. Then, I came back here only to find that now I miss living in Texas...

I think it is normal for us to get sad when our family and friends are so far away from us because we missed them! I've been away from family for almost 2 years now and it so hard, same as my husband but we always cheer up each other when we are feeling sad. I guess try to have some friends there, that you can trust so that you can share whatever you wanna share, because that will help you to feel a lot better when you are sad.
