Do you have Spina Bifida? Do you have any friends or family members that have it?

My hubby has a cousin that her daughter has it. My daughter has Hydrocephalus (water on the brain) and she has a Shunt in her head and usually Spinal Bifida goes with Hydro but my daughter doesn't have the Spinal Bifida.

I have myelomeningocele spina bifida(able to walk with only occassional brace/crutch support),and hydrocephalus. How old is your daughter?

Of COURSE I have a friend with spina bifida and a very wonderful friend--YOU! I was surprised to learn a couple of years ago that our church organist--also, a beautiful and special friend--had been born with a very severe case of it. She's now in her early seventies, and, when it comes to walking, her knees bother her more than her spine.

i have spinal bifida and i can walk and run and do almost everything normal i wish to gain support though on making people aware of certain ways that can help reduce the risk of have a child born with spinal bifida. if you wish to help me in this please respond back
