I wouldn't dare to say happier... but it does have its benefits, you can enjoy a kind of freedom that you dont own when you're in a relationship: and it has some bad stuff too, but so does being commited to someone... So, if you're happy being single, doesnt mean that you would be less happier if you had a significant other Xp

Happiness is for everybody, this is not just limited to a selected few, be it for single people or anybody. I can always be happy despite being single, it is not just through having a relationship that i could feel happiness.

I have not been into relationship yet but watching my friends cry over their boyfriends for breaking their heart or watching them how difficulty it is to balanced time between boyfriend, friends, family and work, I think I am better off alone.

I thought that the life is divided many stages, the unmarried time freedom,is joyful and is free and easy, but, happy from now on often will be lonely,at that time will have a person to accompany in the side is the very happy matter.

I think it is a terrible thing to be single . A happy life is consisted of husband ,wife and child .you can get courage from your lover and child.so, I fear being a single.

well i cant really say it is happier to be single, though from time to time we also longing for to be romanced.. but the cool thing is, you are free, and unattached.. and you can do anything you want, you can go to any places you go with friends, accepts invitations with no hassle and further explanation of whom and what and etc etc.. wheeww.. thats it

They say happiness comes from within, you have to create your own happiness. I have been in a couple of relationships but sadly, they have never worked out. I have always been very independant and that seems to be my major downfall as far as relationships go. As far as being single, I enjoy it alot, I dont have anyone to answer to so I can pretty much do as I please, but then again, I do come home to an empty bed most nights. I guess oth sides have there pluses and minuses, it just depends on your prefrence. I think for now I prefer to stay single, but I'm keeping my options open. Hugs, Tianna

I don't know if it is happier, they both have their good things. I think part of the reason you think it is better is you see people on the tail end of relationships, when things aren't going well. I'm single now, and I have been in long term relationships. And let me tell you, some of the experiences you have in relationships you can never have single and they are amazing. But I don't need to be in a relationship to be happy, and right now am perfectly happy single. I don't know if either is happier though!
