being given a best response is very encouraging. i have not been given that much as i am not really that active here. but if i get to be given a best response, i would thank whoever gave me a best response. sometimes,i just send a PM to thank that person for giving me a best response. i do not get it that often so being given a best response once in a while is already an achievement for me.

I felt appreciated when someone marked my a best response. However, I must admit that I did not take the trouble to thank the person. Thanks for the reminder. I think it is good to at least appreciate the person who awarded us a best response.

No I don't just say thank you because that is being discouraged here in the guidelines. What I am doing in order to show my gratefulness is to continuously support the concerned User with my responses as much as I can. However, there are times when the topic is really beyond my interest so I can't really give responses but for as long as topic is within my interest I always make it a point to respond to them who gave me BR's

I wasn't sure what to do too.. On one hand, it seems polite to thank, on the other hand, you don't want to make other people said because they weren't chosen...
What you write makes it easier to decide!

It feels very great when someone marks my response as "The Best response" .I feel very jubiliant when someone does so .

In fact,I was marked once the BR and it's shame that I didn't reply the mylotter after being marked.Surely,I'll feel great being marked which means I shared the best idea or comment on the discussions.I believe I will go back to the discussion as after I submit your reply.Thanks~~LOL
