Baby born with jaundice. Pray.

My neice delivered a baby weighing only 2 kgs and though the baby was small, we were all happy at her birth. Some days later we learnt that the baby had jaundice and had to be put in the ICU. We all are praying the little angle gets well soon and comes home healthy. A prayer from your end will help her chances a lot. Thanks and God Bless.

Hi. First of all my prayers are with your niece (I already know she's beautiful), you and your family for her continued health, growth and strength. As a mother of a 3 month early premature baby (many years ago; she's now a wonderful young lady of 30); I know the fear, worry, and helplesness one feels at a time like this. Just keep the faith and never stop praying. (Especially prayers of gratitude when she overcomes this and comes home to everyone's loving and waiting arms.) Let us know how she makes out. May God be with you all.

Thanks Reo for the wonderful message. She is on saline drip at the moment and very little feed, but she is growing better day by day. With so many people praying for her, she will indeed be a bouncy baby soon. Her parents are very worried as we are, but I know she will be better soon. Thanks once again. I will let you know when she comes home.

it's always saddening to see little ones needing medical attention. But the baby will be well soon and will be home sooner than you think. I will pray for your little angel and all the other little angels.

We are always worst hit when our children suffer, so you can imagine the trauma the parents are going through. She is on saline drip at the moment. Thank you for your prayers and good wishes. Im sure she will recover fast.

She will be fine. Jaundice is treatable. There is nothing to worry about. The baby will be in my thoughts.

That's so sad, I will be praying for your niece's baby to recover very soon. I can't imagine the trauma that she is experiencing watching her little baby fighting for life. My God protect the baby from any harm and may he give your niece strength to stay focused and strong for her baby. God bless.

Thank you for your good wishes. My heart bleeds for the little one on a saline drip and very little oral feed when she needs all the milk to grow big. Thanks again.

How is it that Chinese babies get jaundice so soon. It is not very common in India. Yes, though it is curable, my heart goes out to the little one who is on saline drip and very little feed orally. Thanks for your good wishes and p rayers.

Sorry to hear that. It's actually common in newborns, but it's completely treatable. Once the bilirubin levels drop and the treatment is stopped, it's unlikely that the treatment will be needed again. Sending good thoughts and hoping she's home quickly!
