Electricity

Apart form the increasing prices of oil and food, another thing that we need to be concerned is electricity. In my country, seeing as mobile phones are a great part of everyday life, and theses said mobile phones contain cost effective prepaid SIM cards, the government is testing if it would be possible that electricity may also be prepaid. I know this solution may be funny for first world countries, but since ours is a third world country I think this is a very good solution to some of our problems (though I still prefer free sources of energy like solar). Now what I want to ask you is do you think making prepaid energy a good solution or do you think focusing on free energy is much better?

I have never concerned to these problems, although often hear these in classes .I pay more attenion to the beautiful clothes and nice food , ha ha ~`just a joke~~ Indeed, electricity cannot be ignored .In the summer night, our government encourages citizen to supermarket that is a good summer resort .You can see, aircondition, light,TV and so on ,they all need energy,if all of the people stay at home ,which will cost much electrecity. So I think it is a good measure to alleviate the pressure. As your question ,i prefer to agree the latter.

I see, I have to say those are good ideas to lessen the amount of electricity used. Unfortunately this is not much an option for us because my grandmother lives with us and though she is still a bit strong she can't travel for long. And we can't just leave here alone at home because she can't tend to most of her needs.

Well I am not sure how this prepaid plan for entergy would work. But I am like you, I do think that countrys should be investing more in the way of trying to get free electricticy like solar power and windmills are also another way of generating cheaper electricity.

Well I don't know much of the details as well but I really don't think it will be the answer to the problem of an increase in demand for energy. I think the government is only doing this so that people will still avail of the energy produced by the companies today. I know its partially true that money makes the world go round, but what of those who really can't afford anything especially with the increasing prices of today's goods? On problems like this I think that the government should be more of a capitalist or better yet give free energy all together. You are right windmills are also a great alternative source of energy. With all these technology available why does it seem still to distant for the masses? At the rate we are going I don't think humanity will be civilized for long.
