Creating A "Happy" List

Just thought I would share with you all something I have found to be very beneficial to me. Everyday I write down what good things have happened that day, things I have enjoyed doing, things I have done well etc. These can be anything, for example a TV show you have watched, housework that you have been putting off, somehting nice you have bought. This is your own personal list and will help you to focus on the positive aspects of your life. If somehting particularily bad happens one day just go back through your list and you will see that life cand and wil be good to you sometimes.

Hi there!!!! I started doing that a couple of years ago. I bought a special notebook where i would write down 5 things that made me happy that day. Sometimes it was hard to think about 5 things or they would be the same over and over again. But it doesmake you realize that sometimes even the simplest things can have abig impact on your life. I would sometimes forget to do it everyday soi would ocasionally skip some days, but thats ok. Then later on I would go back and read some of the things I has written down in the past and be surprised at some of the things that made me happy at one point. It´s kind of like having a diary but the benefit is its makes you me more grateful everyday for the little things.
