How many posts does it take to get to each stage?
To upload pictures?
To copy and paste?
To use the smileys?

Let me be the first to brief you on this one. 
Here you go buddy:
To upload pictures : You can start from the very beginning.
To use the smileys: Only when you reach the 200 post count then you can start using smileys.
To copy and paste: You have to have a count of minimum 500.

you should be able to upload pictures now.
at 100 posts you will get your star.
at 200 posts you can use smileys. 
at 500 posts you can copy and paste.
that's it i think.......unless they're not telling me something.

hi abbeb,
the first milestone is 100 post. you will get your star and rating once you post your 100th post. the second is 200. upon reaching that, you will be eligible for adding smileys, something like 
, 
or 
on your post. the last milestone is 500 posts. after your reach that, you will practically be eligible for getting all privileges here, like copying and pasting, uploading image, etc. i am not so clear about uploading images.
