Did something stupid, and now I'm regretting.

Some time back, I started a discussion here that touched sensitive nerves of some users. Before the discussion, my star was a Shelley-blue star(means a very beautiful blue star. Shelley is Percy Byshhe, the English romantic poet)but after that discussion, it fell down to the dull pink and six next to my name. I thought I knew the people who had rated me negatively, and thought I should start a campaign to do the same to them. Well, I went to their profiles and looked for all the discussions they had started or responded to and rated them negatively. But after sometime, I saw that their rating was not dropping down! Ok, it gave me satisfaction then, though I felt less satisfied when their rating didn't go down. But now I feel stupid and immature, what I did was. And though I won't mention them, I'm sorry. In any case, rating someone negatively is a stupid thing to do. Just because you don't approve of what someone is suggesting doesn't mean that you should blacklist them. Anyway, I was what the rules call a 'rogue user' but I'm repentant. How frequently do you rate, and, any thoughts about my confession????
