I know what you mean.... My mum used to say she felt naked without earrings in and STILL tells me off if I visit and I dont have any in! My little thing is mascara, I do actually feel naked without it. Well, not naked, but it makes me feel like I look like a boy. I hate it, although Its not like I wont pop to the shops without mascara, but if Im in tracksuit bottoms and my hair is tied up Ill automatically feel like I should be wearing mascara as it will make me look like a female!!! haha But like I said, unless its going somewhere major, im happy to pop out without makeup, and equally it will probaly take me 2 mins just to slap a coat of mascara on so I guess im not the worst case!!

I like putting on foundation and lip gloss when I'm meeting people. But if I know I'm going to the grocery where I won't be likely to bump into people I know, I don't mind going bare-faced. I don't have a lot of imperfections on my skin, it's just the acne scars I need to cover up. Anyway, I know where you're coming from. Do people get surprised when they see you without makeup? Haha. Too bad makeup's quite expensive and time consuming, otherwise it would be my favorite thing to do! Right now, eating/food is still on top of my list. :)

I definitely have very close friends who absolutely can not go any where without having on makeup nor their hair done... not even to McDonald's drive thru. When I was about 15 years old I loved always being well dressed, hair groomed right, and a little bit of makeup. I was in a relationship with my daughters father for about five years and a half and can honestly say that he is the reason why I stopped. He did not want to go with me any where if I did not have make up on therefore I completely stopped wearing it only because it bothered him. Especially after all the years I worked in a Dermatologist office, we were told to not wear heavy set makeup or preferable none since it was all about clear faces. Now that I have my daughter, throughout my pregnancy, and even before it I had gotten so used to not wearing makeup that I tend to forget it many times. Some people say that natural looks better on me than the make up and others say vice versa so who knows it may just be an essential part of the woman and should be respected when it is about beauty.
