I guess I just have a soft heart, I am looking at the news, and they are talking about the evacuees, It is so sad that all these millions of people had to be evacuated from their homes, some are thinking about never returning they are tired of running, some are separated during the evacuation the story I just saw was a child separated from her mother and brother the child was reunited after the rescue squad took the mother to where her daughter was, the daughter had gotten on the wrong bus, thank God she was with an aunt. They are all together again but they now have no family where they are located. It just sad to see all of this happening right before you eyes on the news.

It is sad and I feel for them. At the same time (I'm thinking this is in Lousianna) it's a state shaped like a huge bowl...it's going to flood...plan on it and get out early. I can't understand the ppl that act so surprised when it happens...what did they think would happen? It's like moving to California and then being shocked and surprised when there's an earthquake...that's what happens there...plan on it. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

It is really so sad. News like that always break my heart especially if there are kids or oldies involve. It would really touch my heart and sometimes I would even cry. I just can't help but pity these poor people.

Ohh...I am very sensitive about news like that also Chevee and sometimes,I will just walk away because I feel so helpless...Anyway, I know we can reach them through our prayers...We are affected simply because we love our loved ones and we don't want them to be in a situation like that, I will also wish that a lot of people will volunteer to help them and donate a certain fund to make them start again!

It really is a sad situation and I also wish it could go easier when these type of disasters happen.. No one honestly knows how to handle everything that does, and can go on in these situations, so they really don't know how to efficiently handle them.. I am so glad that it wasn't as bad as they originally thought it would be but am also very sad that a few people lost their lives to the storm anyway.. I sympathize with these people and wish there was something that we could do to prevent any more of these situations, but we can't.. I hope everyone keeps them in their prayers and never forgets that disaster can strike any one of us at any time, we just never know.. Take care and be safe..

Yes, that is sad to see a child get separated from her family. Glad to see they found them and she was reunited. There is so much going on right now. There's 3 more storms to watch. Can't keep up with everything.
