how do you make a pumpkin pie?

i don't like pumpkin pie but i have a son that does. i buy a can of pumpkin & go by the recipe that's on there.

Pumpkin Pie is my FAVORITE dessert hands down. Use the recipe on the back of Libby's Pumpkin: 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. each of salt, ginger and ground cloves, 2 eggs, one 15oz. can of pumpkin puree, one 12oz. can of evaporated milk, and any piecrust of your choice. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, in a separate bowl add the eggs, stir in pumpkin, and add to dry ingredients. Stir in evaporated milk. Pour into pie shell and bake at 425 degrees for 15 min. YUM!! Enjoy the best pumpkin pie you'll ever eat!

I personally don't like pumpkin pie but my mom makes them all the time. She makes her own pie crust from flower and butter and rolls it up and refridgerates it for 24 hrs. Then she rolls it out and puts it into a pie dish. She cheats in this aspect but she buys premade pumpkin pie mix. She uses E.D Smith mix and it has the recipe right on it. If you want go to edsmith.com to get the recipe but it always smells so good. Everyone else in my family seems to love it but me but that's just me - picky eater!
