Or do you put on a happy tune to help bring your mood up? If i'm feeling partcualrly depesssed I tend to stick a bit of linkin park on and wallow in it a bit. I dont really want to be cheered up sometimes? I know of people who are the oppisite though so maybe I should try a happy song next time?

I tend to listen to depressing songs when I'm down. I just feel worse if I'm listening to a song that exudes happiness and high energy. That's the worse feeling when I'm down. A sad song will move through my brooding ways faster than an energetic song would. And I don't like forcing myself to cheer up.

I definitely wallow. I pretty much have a song for anything crappy that could possibly be going on in my life. I have about a dozen or so for when me and my husband are having rough times. Its funny though because the sad songs seem to keep me in that mood but the happy ones never seem to bring me out of a gloomy mood. I gues I am one of those people that just has to let it wear off itself.

I don't listen to any music at all when I'm sad, I just kind of think about everything that is wrong and see what I can do to get myself happy again.
