Question about ADHD kids.....

My son has ADHD,he is 15 years old. He was on medication for a while but we stopped it because we didn't want him all drugged up.
It has been about a year and a half and now I think he has outgrown it,but there is
something else in its place.
NOW he seems like some times he's quiet,other times he gets very loud and irritable
and screams at every1.
What is this? Is it possible kids with ADHD can develop bi-polar?
That's what it sounds like,doesn't it? He's been like this for about a year.
Any and all input much appreciated.

I doubt that he has bi-polar. Maybe he just has teenagerism.. Teenagers have all these raging hormones and stuff. They are always going to be moody.
