I posted a question and found out later there is a similar one, what to do?

This happens sometimes. I post a question which I knew would be worth discussing, then I found out later that there is a similar question. I would like my questions to be original but I suppose, our alikeness as humans do tend to make us ask the the same questions. Perhaps because these questions are based upon our experiences, so we can't help it, if we come up with questions which are similar to each other. What would you do once you discover that there is a similar question which was asked previously? Thanks for any contribution. I'm interested in your reponses. All the best.

So far, I've just moved on to something else. I've done a search on a couple ideas, and found out the discussion had already been entered once. So, I just started looking for more discussions to join until I think of something else.
