You are traveling by train and when you are about to alight on a stop especially when it is the peak hour, people that are boarding just push their way into the train without letting the others alight first and in the end you must also force your way out. This situation have been happening in my country and it is still happening everyday even though there are campaigns and effort to stop this nonsense. The worst situation that i have been in is that i cant alight on my stop because people just dont want to move and act politely and graciously, they just care about themselves.

That happened to me several times already. After the incident, I don't use the train anymore during peak hours. I just commute using other vehicles. Trains in our country are very cheap that's why many people like to ride on it.

Trains are also cheap compared to cars in my country, thus we both share the some situation. Thx for replying.

Haha, such bad luck for you, Antz? Next time you should adopt the "Mr Kiasu" technique of crowd-clearing; wear durian armour or bring something nasty smelling, this way everyone will force themselves to give way! Maybe bring a pomfret that's been left overnight and hang it from your bag - the fishy smell might guarantee success! On a more serious note, it's probably just that the Mass Rapid Transit trains (MRT trains are one of the main public transports in Singapore) are really running out of space. I used to remember that 8-plus years ago, I never had to worry about finding a seat and sitting together with my 4-member family. Now, I find it easier to stand at the doors which opens the other way to Dover MRT, so I can alight for school more easily. (Since those other doors only open at Dover and Raffles Place xD)
