I found out two months late that my old best friend died, please help......

I found out that my old best friend whom I known 15 years of my life, since we we little, died two months ago. I didn't think it was him at first... see I was trying to reconnect with him again, his mom died last year so he and his dad moved from the old house, couldn't get the new phone number or new address, but I know he didnt go far cuz he was working in Rockefeller center (I live in NYC). Anyways, I tried looking him up on ancestry website and I found his mother... and him... dead. The exact him, middle name, birthday and everything. There's nobody else with his exact full name and birthday. I couldn't believe my eyes. Then I typed his name in google and I found one of his co-workers wrote a blog about him on myspace to remember him. I tried calling where his dad used to work, hes not there anymore, he's 72 now so hes probably retired, I dont know where he is. I can't find out what happened to my friend. I hate to say this but I do suspect suicide though, he died one year after his mom's death which he was depressed about (she had a big drinking problem) and then he died FOUR DAYS before his 22nd birthday!! What the hell do you call that? Sweet Jesus... and I remember exactly what I was doing on that day he died, I just couldn't picture that somewhere while I was doing what I was doing that he would be possibly killing himself. Anyways, I wrote to the co-worker who blogged about him on myspace, I have a feeling she won't have much info in terms of contacting his dad to tell me, so is there anywhere else I could go? Every place online wants me to pay money to find out about this person I loved dearly as a best friend and brother who died and I just think that is INSULTING! First I had to pay a free trial on ancestry to find out he died, I cancelled that in time, then another site promised me full details including cause of death all for $30 but all they gave me was the same info from ancestry website. I tried obituary look-ups, everything... I don't know where else to look and I'm going crazy. I have to find out what happened to him and where he's buried (if he wasn't cremated, that is). Is there somewhere I'm not looking? Perhaps a retirement home look up so I can find his dad? I don't know. Please help me?
