By nature I am a very optimistic person, this makes me persevere in life’s difficult situations. Being optimistic in every sense of the word—seeing the positive sides of things and events no matter how tough they may be, has been the effective method I used in the past thirty-seven years of my existence to resolve crucial issues and even solve huge problems. As a positive person, I always see a chance in every challenge instead of seeing a challenge in every chance. That no matter how circumstances in life twist and slam me from all directions, I will definitely find ways to redeem myself and eventually come out as a victorious survivor. It is not easy though, preconditioning your mind to do this. It requires a steady mind, a brave personality, and above all, the strongest of faith in the Divine Creator. I strongly agree in Rick Warren’s book The Purpose Driven Life when he stated, “God has a purpose behind every problem; He uses circumstances to develop our character” (193). This has been my guiding principle every time I hurdle a difficult situation. In my heart and in my mind I truly believe that God wills every event that is happening in my life, may it be a joyful event or its contrary. That He creates joyful moments in my life because He wants me to be appreciative of the beauty of His creation and allows me to give my acknowledgement to Him as the Creator. Likewise, He creates difficult moments or situations in my life for me to constantly seek His Divine Presence and continuously acknowledge Him as the Omnipotent Creator. God has been giving me the understanding that through life’s difficult situations, I was gain more strength to carry on with my responsibilities and enrich myself with the wisdom to fulfill tasks from those responsibilities. My strong faith in God is the sole source of my optimism in life. That no matter how dark the situation may be, I am always enlightened and encouraged by the thought that God is always there for me to help me and take control of my life when I seemed to lose it. But above all, I firmly believe that as long as I walk with Him in faith, He gives me constant blessing especially after every trial I conquered. Because of this, I feel so enthusiastic instead of being drained after tackling a difficult situation in life; I know and I am sure that God will let me feel tangibly His insurmountable love and compassion. In Footprints, the author gave her advice: “When the outlook is not good, we do not need to fret or worry. Fretting will only tie us in knots. Worry will only cast a big shadow over small problems—a shadow that should never cross our lives. We need to realize that God sees tomorrow more clearly than we see yesterday or today. The future is completely in His hands.” (M.F.Powers 62) Difficult situations in my life are really chances for me to embrace God’s boundless love and mercy that is why I deal with them optimistically.

god is always there to help his children. we get punished but we all should remember that it is a HEAVY DISCOUNT PUNISHMENT.it is the least god can give. so, it is better that we reconcile and praise god for his acts of kindness rather than bickering for more and more in life. let life flow and take its turn... bye and take care.

I'm a optimist too. No matter what difficulties I am confronted with, I never looks like a dying duck in the thunderstorm. I will keep on thinking "I can do it, just do it". But I am always shilly-shallying, which is my big shortcoming. My constellation is Pisces, always has two sides. And I'm really unwilling to decide which one should I take.
