Help someone and a sense of omnipotence envelopes you.
Help need not be giving away money. Not at all. Even a kind word to someone in distress is HELP.
Care2 has 1000s of 'free' email cards to be sent.
What's the fun in sending a card? Well, for each card that is sent from them, great donors donate funds to save a tiny portion of a 'rain forest', feed a neglected and hungry animal and so on.
Besides you can sign a petition that could go long way to alleviate the pain of a distressed person or animal.
Isn't that wonderful to do without expending any money !

it is so nice that people have still so much of compassion and time to take care of other humanity.
Is it not a surprise, when you are not required to do any donation, other than just send some free email cards.
I would just do this. I am not in a position to donate myself. But, this would give me a chance to feel the part of doing it.
