In the beginning, it was just cyber friends... But now I am REALLY having fun!

When I first started using facebook, it was mostly to exchange ideas and fun with people I knew from online. After that I started adding family and then real life friends. I find the apps really fun, but sometimes I think facebook is a waste of time, just another thing that computer enthusiasts get addicted too. Then recently, I found a friend from my high school graduating class. Mind you this was a graduation from high school in 1978, so we are all "old" now. Then my friends had other class friends that I added, and they shared mine as well. We are building up quite a network. I've been using facebook for almost a year and I am amazed it took me this long to figure out that I could use it to find people from my past, even 30 years ago. It's so cool to see pictures of kids and grandkids, even, and to find out what folks are doing after all this time. Today I even got an invitation to a class reunion. Unfortunately I won't be able to go, but what a neat way to find people even after we've all moved and changed jobs and lives so much! Who is your favorite group of friends on facebook and why do you use facebook to stay in touch with them?
