I have been working for this company for 15 years. Don't you think Its about time I get a promotion also? Of coarse my haters at work will really just be envious. But that's just part of life isn't it? I have been working on a production line the whole time I've been there. Now I've got a job just asking people how they like there job. Can't get any better than that. So should people hate me?

No, they should just work harder themselves and be grateful they're employed! Congrats on the new job walkthetalk, and is that poetic justice or what eh? LOL

Congrats on the promotion. I hope no one hates you. Fifteen years is a long time without a promotion! Good luck with the new job.

Thanks for the luck. I have always chose my job. As I said, and I'm sure their are many other companies the same way. The higher up you are, the closer out the door you are. It is sad that is the way they find to fire people.

15 years is a long time to work somewhere and not get a promotion so you certainly deserve one! People should not hate you for it, but they will because some people do not like to see others get on. But it is just tough, hope you enjoy your new position.

Oh I will. I haven't got a promotion because I have not ever ask for one. I work for the kind of company that the higher up the ladder you are the closer out the door you are. I think this job will be safe though. And my haters can hate on.

I remember the day I got promoted on work, i felt like all were jelaous on me :). Today, they aren't jelous anymore, they realised that this role in company i work, ain't so "easy" to do. I do things of great responsibility.
