I plant several flowers with plastic containers. Sometimes I wonder if the airtight material will affect the plants becouse the roots can't contact air. I drill some little holes on the containers, and I hope the flowers can grow well. Do you think it is proper to plant flowers with plastic containers?

You can plant plants in what ever you like but there must be holes in it to drain the water away, or your plant wil get bogged down and die.

Hi! I do that too. I drill holes in the bottom of plastic containers and reuse them for potting. My primary reason for that is that plastic containers are a lot lighter. Clay pots are good, but they're too heavy for me, very inconvenient when I have to move the plants around. I think it's good to use plastic containers for planting, it's a means for earth-friendly recycling.

I have no my own house so I use simple containers to plant flowers. I love flowers very much because they make the house lively. I will have a good mood when I care them. I like to cut off a twig and put it in moist sand until it grow roots. Then plant it with earth in a container. I am happy to see it grow and grow up gradually.

Yes, I also love gardening. I get so much satisfaction from seeing a tiny seedling grow into a roobust plant. I also find it a happy occasion when a butterfly or two visits my plants! I live in a small rented house, and right now, my major problem is getting garden soil. Where we are, it's all cemented ground, and I still have to go far to buy some garden soil.
