Will you choose it because its just a long, descriptive one?or a small,attractive,straight-to-the-point response will attract you?how many days will you take to choose a BR?etc,etc,..questions comes to my mind when i think about choosing a best response... How will you choose?

I think it will all depend on the subject matter. But I definately like slightly longer answers I think. But if you ask a questions that a simple answer will suffice that would be good too, unless they added some relevant thing that happen to them or something which would make it even better in my opinion Right now it won't be too difficult for me to choose, since a couple of mine only have 1 response. Actually that's a bit of a problem for me, because on one of my discussions there is only 1 response and it isn't even on the right subject. I'm holding out for now hoping it will get 1 or 2 more responses.

its because the response gives me a full descriptive answer and has a sense and quality response. even though its short or long, as long the response give me the right answer with sense, thats the best response for me.

It depends on the subject and theme of the discussion. If it's a simple answer discussion with no strings attached and no need for a descriptive oppinion (like, for instance - "what did you have for dinner today?" - here you will choose the food that matches your personal taste, not a long responce with a recipe). But if it's a discussion about the beginning of life, of course, the best (written) theory will be the best answer. Although, it really comes down to what you like in the end. Because there will be groups by oppinion. Some will go with one theory (if you take the last example) and some - with another. You select the best responce, so it's your oppinion that matters in the end.

the length doesnt really matters what matters most is the content it cound be lenghty or it could be one liner but if the response is a knock out in the real sense that would be my best response..

I always keep my post within a wek before I will choose my Best Responder and I always choose it because I felt the way he/she explained it to my discussion and their is a heartfelt into it......

Best response is an option or the creator of a discussion to mark the person best who ahve given a good and satisfactory response. because people here may at times respond o discussions with responses which have no relation with the subjet of the discussion. I have given a few BR's but never set a time limit to give BR's.

I don't choose best response regularly. Whenever I feel like I don't have any good discussions to respond to, I will start giving BR. I will give BR only if there is no activity in that discussion. I will give BR to the one which attracts me more. If I feel no big difference between the responses, I will give priority to friends. Hehe. Happy mylotting.

I select the best response depending on how much has the reply stuck to the topic and to the point. How descriptive it is and whether it generated something even more better than what I was thinking etc. Even sometimes something small that has something really attractive and eye catching could obviously win my vote.
