mylot search seems to be almost useless

Last night after I logged off I noticed a top news story on the mylot "home" page that I would have liked to respond to but didn't have time. I'm almost postive that it wasn't list among the stories while I was logged on. So just now I logged in to post a response to it and it wasn't there. So I tried doing a search to find it. No luck, no matter how many different wordings I tried it never was found and the the wordings that I thought would be closest got nothing. So I don't know how you are supposed to respond to something that is shown on the mylot page before you log-in and then isn't there after you log-in.
