When it rains, it is almost like non-stop for days where I live. It doesn't get heavy or stormy, but still quite unpleasant to walk around or to drive along the highways. How about where you live ? Do yo get heavy rains ?

I wish we could have some rain. for the past 3 or 4 years we have had a drought.I like rainy days. I guess I wouldn't like them as much if it rained every day for two or three weeks straight. We only get heavy rain here if there is a storm.

Hi greenline. Here, where I live, we have some heavy rains and storms too in the summer time. But it's about hours only. In the others seasons we have less rain and it doesn't get heavy. Most of the time we have sun. LOL it's a tropical country. Good for beach lovers LOL. And I agree with you that is unpleasant to walk when is raining. But sometimes I like to walk in the rain. Crazy isn't? Have a nice sunday dear friend.

Yes, we do get periods of heavy rains, and usually during that time a lot of us are under either a flood watch or a flood warning. I remember last year looking out my patio door (it faces the back of our apartment complex), and behind the trees where there is usually nothing but dirt was a swirling mass of water and anything in its path. I'm glad we haven't had a flood in this part of my state in years.

The area where I live is in a drought right now, but we have had some recent heavy rains. Usually our rain here is just steady. Right now because of the drought, I'd be thankful for some heavy rains. The only problem with that is that drivers here don't seem to be too good driving in those conditions. I was driving in north Georgia once when the rain was so hard I literally couldn't see directly in front of me. I thought about pulling off the road, but I couldn't see where to go, so I continued very slowly and in no time I was out of that heavy downpour. It didn't last any time at all, praise the Lord.

Yes, we do get heavy rains... *LOTS* of them. And streets get flooded easily too. I've had my fair share of encounters with heavy rains and flood and a few ruined shoes/clothes. I like rainy weather in general, though. I just don't like getting caught out in it.

Hi greenline... Since I live in a tropical country, it's really expected to get heavy rains. Sometimes the rains here cause a lot of flooding and damage to buildings but I guess it's something that we've learned to live with. I really dislike it when it rains here... If it were just a light shower or something, no problem but here, when I say it rains... it's not only raining cats and dogs, talk about raining cows... Lol. The storms can get really fierce here. It can get really scary and nasty when the weather becomes bad.

We have rains in our area during this time. Here it rains for few minutes and then goes. For one or two days, there were heavy rains.

We are having monsoon rains but not very heavy and then when the rain stops it would be so hot and you'd wish that it was raining again. We are in our rainy season now but it doesn't rain as often as before. Maybe this has got something to do with our climate change. But we still have experienced typhoons and storms the previous months. But me, i prefer cloudy days and rain showers because i find it more comfortable not worrying about the extreme hot sunny days.

Hey greenline. Sometimes it rains for days like you're describing and it does get rather annoying and depressing. It's not so bad yet because they aren't the really cold rains, but they will be soon. We have been getting alot of heavy thunder storms, more than usual and this weekend we are expecting the Hurricanes to possibly be hitting us to some extent. I am trying to keep up with the weather forcast so I know what to expect. So far 2 of them are on their way for Saturday. It's still a bit early for them to tell how severe they will be so I will just keep listening as they update and prepare accordingly. I made sure to get batteries for the flashlights just in case. Not much else I would do so I guess I'm as prepared as I will be.
