AB- The AB group is the smallest one, considering the whole world. And RH- is not very frequent, either, so I'm one of the few (in relative terms, of course) who have this combination of blood types.

I am O negative I also am RH negative so when I got pregnant I had to have a shot when I was a little ways along in case the babies blood was positive otherwise my body might have rejected the baby. Thankfully all was fine both of my kids ended up with negative blood too.

Mine is also Type O, the universal type. I'm glad I have this type for same reason as yours. My husband has type B and this is the reason why when I delivered my baby my son got jaundice or he turned yellowish. According to the doctors, it is because our blood type did not match. Of course my son gets his father's blood type. I did not really understand the reason for that but I was so happy then that there was not need for blood transfusion to remedy the situation. This was told to me by the doctor as one of the option of the jaundice will not subside. My son was just exposed to sunlight and soon he ceased to be yellowish and turned normal and he is now a grown up young man.
