Is it strange to go to a bar by yourself?

Hi there TheHawkBat! I do not find it strange to go to a bar all by myself. There have been times I have done this. Perhaps one of the reasons why such is fine with me is that I am sure that I do have a friend or two whom I will see there. Or, even if I don't, in most of the bars here in our city, the owners or in some cases, the attendants are my friends too. So, I do not really have to worry about being there all by myself.

I think their is nothing wrong being alone in a bar as long that you don't drink to nuch, a few bottles may do, while just listening to music, and just enjoy for a while I think. Good night!

I don't think so, no. Especially seeing as there is live music there too and I am sure that there would be others by themselves as well just for the music. I travel alone a lot of the time and have sat in a bar by myself many times! The only way to get to know your new area and the people in it is to get on out there! I say go for it.....
