Making money with surveys

I'd like to ask if anyone has EVER qualified for an OTX survey. I have tried over and over and everytime I try, i get thru the demographic stuff just to be told that I dont qualify. I've about given up even trying those.
Has anyone else had any luck with them?

I have taken parts in lots of market research and made lots of money doing it. The thing that you have to remember is that they are often looking for a very specific type of person.
If you fall into a category that they send lots of invites to then you will have difficulty in getting onto the survey panel
If you are a woman in America - they have probably sent it to 50000 people like you and they only want 1000 replies. So it is a very small chance of getting to do the survey

I've done some market research too. i've done some product testing and enjoyed doing that. i got 2 free pepper grinders for doing one of them and $20!

Thanks for your response. I still do surveys, and get some extra cash for them, but its not a lot of money...but hey every extra dollar helps these days!

I used to qualify for OTX surveys about half the time.Now,they started asking if you have children for some reason.I don't have children,so I never qualify for the surveys anymore.

Those survey things are a load of crap.That's why I have given up on them.

brendaleemichelle83, they really arent if u find the good sites. I have been paid by several of them. I dont try to make a living from them because you cant, but I've gotten some pretty neat checks from sites like surveyspot, your2cents, ACOP. I just dont do the OTX surveys anymore! LOL

I have qualified for a few but what I have learned is that the pay is so low and the time it takes to complete them (at least on OTX mysurvey.com is way better) its just really not worth it! I can fill out offers twice as fast and make double what those surveys pay. It takes forever to get approved for one... and usually they are very repetitive. I have taken 2 and since then I stopped. Its to much work for tooooooo little pay. I have a blog of a few survey sites that are way easier on my profile listed where the webpage is. You can check them out you don't have to sign up as my referral I don't really have time to do them any more so I don't mind. The only sites I really do now are treasure trooper and mylot. I like to chat more than fill out surveys ^_^

wikikitty, its nice to know I'm not the only one! lol Thanks for your response. i'm a member also at Treasure Trooper but I've never worked it. I found some sites that pay daily and thats where u can usually find me. I'll check over your list to see if there are any I'm not a member of!....and if I find any, I'll gladly be your referral.
