Do you keep figurines of Jesus or Mary or other saints in your house?

I'd have to say, in my country, this is like some part of the culture. Religion has a big impact. So there, the Catholic family side of my Dad loves having those little statues of Saints and display them at home. My Mom is of different religion and they don't believe in the same thing, of course.
I am Catholic but I am not fond of keeping a lot of these figurines. It's like, I feel like I'd be some fake Catholic person if I keep these things around me because I am not very much devout.. But I do believe in God. It's good to have a few of them around as a reminder but too much of them, is kinda freaky. 0.o

Nope, we don't have any of these figurines at all in our house and never will we have. If someone gives any of the figurines to me...I think I would sell it in ebay....

i am not so interested in keeping such 'holy' stuffs 
but my mother and my sister, yes. my mother have figurines of jesus, mary, joseph, the holy family, the three wise men from the east.... while my sister prefer pictures. she has pictures of jesus, mary, reproduction of the last supper... sometimes i think that my house is a religious museum 
well, not that bad...sorry, not that good actually.

We're the same! ^^ Woah. That's pretty intense. Like some collection huh? I have a rosary, and I'm fine with it. I don't like figurines but that doesn't change my belief. :)

Yes, we do have a big grotto of Mama Mary in the garden.
We have a standing cross too. My sisters' family has a Sto. Niño figurine.
I believe that the figurines are just symbols of the spiritual people from different religions/faiths. So these are not to be hailed/ worshipped/ samba. Just a reminder for us I believe.

I agree. They're just reminders. I am not very fond of owning one though.. I have my rosary and I am never out without it. There are some people who offer food to figurines though.. 0.o
