How would you tell your parents that you are pregnant and still 16?

My brother's friend got a 16 year old girl (also a family friend) pregnant. She kept her growing belly for nine months (i wonder how she was able to to that.) One day, her labor pains began and she told her dad that she has a terrible stomachache and she wanted to go to the hospital. So off they went. To her dad's surprise, the doctor said that his daughter is about to give birth. When the baby came out, there was no time for any reprimands, bitter words, painful confessions or whatever. It was a happy surprise, because the baby was out, without notice. A girlfriend who was 25 then also got pregnant (by a maried man) and kept it a secret until she began to show. THe family did not talk about it, nor did she confessed. They just let her be, and waited til the baby came. Another girl friend, just one month pregnant was struggling on how to tell her parents. Then one day, she called her mother, and told her that she has some news. TO her surprise, her mother told her "you are pregnant? I know. I felt it. DOn't worry, we will be here for you." That was a wonderful thing for a mother to say. I don't know what would i do if i were on their shoes. Perhaps i would do the same as what Drew Barrymore did in the movie, "Riding in Cars with Boys." Just write a "moving" letter to my parents and read it aloud to them, as if i was reading a love poem.

Oh,oh,oh.It's so ,so......I don't know how to describe it.It's unbelievable that they can hide the growing belly. And I don't know how to tell my parents that I am pregnant and still 16.Because it will never happen.

Good for you. You know, experiences such as this with girl friends make you stop and think about life. It makes you more sympathetic to people. It gives you a good lesson as well. These girls had it really tough.

I used to have a classmate who manage to keep her tummy for 5 months, and during that time we are having our final exam. She manage to keep it until we graduate, and few months later she gave birth to a healthy baby boy and everyone were so shocked. If my sister are facing this problem, i won't blame her, i will accept the baby happily! (,
